"The hearing today conveyed the results of the previous mediation hearing on October 13. The result states that it failed," said Muhammad Fahdi, Nurdin Ruditia's legal representative, at the North Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday (27/10/2020)
Moving forward, the hearing will be held online. This is based on a request from Nita Thalia's legal representative.
"As Nita Thalia's legal representative, we request for e-litigation where the legal proceedings will be conducted online. This means that in the future, we will no longer attend the hearings," he said.
Both the defendant and the plaintiff will return to the North Jakarta Religious Court for the hearing with the agenda of presenting evidence and witnesses.
"We will be present again on November 24, where both parties will be present to prove witnesses and submit documentary evidence," he said.
As known, Nita Thalia, who has been married to Nurdin Ruditia for 20 years and has one child, suddenly filed for divorce at the North Jakarta Religious Court on September 25.
