Long Absence, Dorce Gamalama is Now Busy Selling Flowers

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actress, Dorce Gamalama has become rarely exposed. However, this 56-year-old woman is still quite active as an entertainer, whether as a singer or comedian in various off-air events.

Not wanting to be left behind by many other Indonesian artists, Dorce is also involved in the business world. Interestingly, she chose a different business from the majority, which is selling flowers. Dorce even has her own shop that is quite popular and attracts customers.

"I sell flowers on a small scale. I have a flower shop, it's quite good for parties, for mourning, flower boards, things like that. So we just send them for weddings or whatever event. We do have flower stocks from Bandung, and there are also stocks from abroad," said Dorce as quoted from the KH Infotainment Youtube Channel recently.

1. The Beginning of Interest in the Flower Selling Business

Furthermore, Dorce tells the story of how she became interested in the flower selling business. Apparently, the idea arose when she was on vacation in Turkey and saw the beautiful tulips.

"Initially, I was attracted to the fragrance, I liked flowers like that. The first time I went to Turkey, I saw flowers, including tulips. And it turns out that tulips are not from the Netherlands, but from Turkey. From there, I started with just a few stems, and eventually many people were interested," she continued.

2. Making Americans Sing Dangdut Songs

Dorce also apparently has a mission to bring dangdut music to the international stage. Together with a friend, the Solok-born woman has an agency in America where her artists sing dangdut songs from Indonesia.

"In America, I only collaborate with my friend. So we make American artists sing dangdut songs, sing my songs. They are not fluent, I teach them. But at least they really like dangdut songs," Dorce concluded.
