Not only longing for his children, Zul also apologizes to his wife. "She just said 'stay strong, sorry that because of me you became like this'," Zul's wife continued.
"It's quite difficult to make a living. For the first time, I really have to work to support the children. Bismillah, that's all," explained Retno about the current financial condition.
Zul was arrested with 9 kilograms of crystal meth as evidence. This extraordinary amount could lead Zul to face a considerable sentence.
Retno gave a simple reason to her children. She said that Zul is currently studying and will be coming home soon.
Retno admitted that their children often ask where their father is. Their children miss their father's presence at home.
Longing for their child, Zul asked his wife to bring their child to the trial. "Can't bring the child to the courtroom. Just met briefly before going up (to the courtroom), very briefly," said Retno Paradina, Zul's wife.
In this second trial, Zul was given the opportunity to find witnesses for the third trial. "We will not file an exception and we are given time by the Prosecutor to present witnesses," said Andi Bahtiar, Zul's legal counsel.
