Lucinta Luna Claims She Was Forced by the Police to Admit Possession of 2 Ecstasy Pills, This is What the Lawyer Says

The latest development is that Lucinta Luna denies being the owner of the 2 ecstasy pills found in her apartment trash can. Luna claims that she was forced by the police to admit that she is the owner of the illegal items.

This was confirmed by Luna's lawyer, initials AAFS. When met at the West Jakarta District Court recently, AAFS criticized the police's actions of pressuring Luna to admit.

"As law enforcement officers, they should not use coercion. We still believe that our law enforcement officers can carry out their duties and authorities correctly. Regarding the statements that emerged during the trial, let the Panel of Judges assess and decide," said AAFS.

1. Wait for the Next Trial

Furthermore, AAFS asks all parties to wait for further trial regarding this matter. Because during the trial, there were many inconsistencies in Luna's case.

"There are many inconsistencies. Hopefully the judge can assess it professionally, that's all," he explained.

2. Lawyer Already Knows Luna was Forced to Confess

Regarding Luna's statement admitting to being forced by the police to confess to possessing ecstasy, AAFS already knows. Before the trial began, he had heard Luna's statement.

"Yes, it's exactly as she stated. That's why as her legal counsel, our duty is to seek the truth," he said.

AAFS also mentioned that they will bring additional witnesses who were previously examined in the Examination Report. They will be presented in the trial next week.
