Mahalini Surprised by DMs Flooded by Malaysian Fans Asking for Concert Tickets

Mahalini is set to greet her fans in Malaysia through KOMA Live in Concert. The concert is planned to be held in Kuala Lumpur on May 2, 2026.

The decision to expand to neighboring countries has been met with extraordinary enthusiasm, even surprising Mahalini herself. Mahalini admitted she never expected to have such a solid fan base in Malaysia.

Considering it's been a while since Mahalini performed there, she thought her presence might not be very significant. However, the reality turned out to be the opposite.

"Oh, I'm excited, really excited. Because the last time I performed in KL was a long time ago. Coincidentally, it was last year if I'm not mistaken. And that was a long time ago," said Mahalini in the Senayan area on Wednesday (11/26/2025).

"I'm really, really excited because my friends in KL are incredibly solid. Because I also never expected that I would have fans in Malaysia, which can be considered a different country from ours," added Mahalini.

Out of impatience, fans from Malaysia even bombarded Mahalini's social media account with questions about ticket sales.

"They really stream every day, they DM every day asking 'When will the tickets go on sale? When will the tickets go on sale?' Like that. I hope now that the ticket sales for KL have been announced for December 2, right? December 2. December 2 and Indonesia on December 1. I hope they buy the tickets," she hopes.

To prepare for her best performance in the two countries, Mahalini is currently busy refining her music concept. She regularly exercises to maintain her stamina and has intensive discussions with the music director to present fresher song arrangements.

"Coincidentally, yes, I'm also exercising a lot, so it's pretty good. For the preparation, I'm actually thinking more about the concepts now. Like yesterday, I was in a meeting with, what’s it called... uh, my music director," said Mahalini.

She also ensures that her old hit songs will still be performed but with a new touch so that the audience gets a different experience.

"Maybe the old arrangements will be performed but they might be beautified so that they don’t sound the same," she concluded.
