Maia Estianty's Confession of Being Angry and Blaming God for Heavy Trials in the Past

After receiving encouragement from her friends, Maia finally decided to withdraw from the custody battle. The Surabaya-born woman believes that someday God will return her children to her embrace.

"I withdraw immediately, like in a war, when the troops withdraw, there's no need to fight back. Just accept the destiny. And finally, I didn't look for the children at all, I focused on work, work, work, how to build a house, rebuild my career," said the woman who is now the wife of Irwan Mussry.

2. Initially Angry and Blaming God

Like everyone else, Maia also initially blamed and got angry at God when she first faced her heavy trial. But luckily, in the end, this 44-year-old woman met the right people who could calm her emotions.

"I've never experienced such a crazy extreme trial like that before. At that time, when it happened, that's when I got angry at God, like I cursed God. Because I couldn't accept it, I didn't do anything wrong all this time, but why did this happen to me? But that's where the process of learning in life is. Fortunately, I met spiritual mentors, family, cousins who strengthened each other," Maia concluded.
