The world of dangdut music in the country is once again shrouded in sorrow. Hj. Rosidah binti Ismail, the beloved wife of senior singer Mansyur S, has taken her last breath on Monday, January 5, 2026. The departure of the figure who has faithfully accompanied the maestro leaves profound sadness for the extended family.

The deceased passed away at the age of 75. Mansyur S explained that his wife was born in March 1950. Before her passing, Hj. Rosidah's health condition had indeed declined, requiring her to undergo intensive care in the hospital.

The main cause of Hj. Rosidah's death was due to a drastic drop in blood sugar levels. Mansyur S mentioned that this condition had actually been monitored for a long time, but fate had other plans as the late woman's physical condition weakened in the last two weeks.

During the treatment period, the family had made efforts to provide the best medication. However, complications from the diabetes made it difficult for the late woman's health condition to stabilize, until she was ultimately declared deceased.

"Age... this is precious to me. So she was born in '50, March. On March 5, 1950. So (her age) is 75 years," said Mansyur S when met at the funeral home on Monday (5/1/2026).

Mansyur S also presented details regarding his wife's last medical condition. He mentioned that the late woman's blood sugar level had dropped to a very low point while she was being treated in the hospital.

"There was a drop in sugar. So during her hospitalization for two weeks, her blood sugar dropped to 46. It was already there from the beginning, but it was indeed not controlled well, though we always monitored it properly. Whatever it is, indeed, every soul shall taste death, everyone will return to God's embrace. I think that’s it," he said.

This loss is certainly a heavy blow for the singer. For him, Hj. Rosidah was not just a wife, but a soulmate who had accompanied him through joys and sorrows for decades of his career. "Personally, I feel the loss, because she has been by my side for 56 years until now. I think that’s it," he stated.

The extended family is currently preparing for the funeral procession. The best prayers are offered so that the deceased may find the best place by His side and the family left behind is granted strength.
