When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/7), Nabila Faisal revealed that before marrying Marcell, he was already a devout worshipper. Marcell was strong in practicing the religion he believed in before.

"So, before Marcell converted to Islam, he was Catholic. According to me, he was truly devout in his worship. So, whether he was Catholic at that time, and now he is Muslim, he is the type who has good worship, quite strong," said Nabila.
Not only that, Nabila was also amazed to see her husband constantly striving to become better in terms of worship. Not only obligatory prayers, Marcell also performs voluntary prayers such as tahajud prayer.

However, even though she has been a Muslim since birth, Nabila Faisal admitted to learning a lot to become a devout Muslim like her husband.
"So that's why now I see him, from someone who used to only pray Maghrib. And now he prays Zuhr and Maghrib," she said.
"Now I am learning the five daily prayers and tahajud as well. I'm like 'wow,' I don't think I'm as diligent as him. Even as a Muslim since birth, I'm like 'wow,' so I'm learning from him too," she concluded.
