Maudy Koesnaedi is once again involved in a new film project titled AGAPE: THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. This marks her fifth film to be released in 2025. She plays the role of Sania, a single mother who works day and night to care for her child suffering from leukemia.

Maudy Koesnaedi admitted that she accepted a role that is very different from her iconic role in SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN. Maudy mentioned that she is now more selective in choosing roles that can have an impact on many people.
"I am not the Maudy Koesnaedi who was Zaenab before. Now there are priorities, especially my child. So when I receive a job, I think: is this beneficial for others? Will the story reach the audience?" said Maudy, quoted via Detikpop on Tuesday (09/09/2025).
Through her post, Maudy thanked Arie Azis and Titien Wattimena for giving her the opportunity to play a different character, Sania.
"Thank you, Mrs. @arieazis & Ms. @tinut, who from the beginning gave me the chance to talk and the space to shape a character different from before," wrote Maudy in a caption on her social media post.
"Thank you, mbak @angel_bibhier, for the hug when I needed it. Thank you to the cast for their energy for this unconditional love," she continued.
In general, this film directed by Ari Azis tells the story of eight people from different backgrounds meeting in a hospital. Two of them are Sania (Maudy Koesnaedi), a single mother fighting for her daughter Kira (Sarah Beatrix) who is suffering from leukemia.
Besides Maudy & Sarah, several other names that also star include Rania Putrisari, Tanta Ginting, Samuel Rizal, Tyo Pakusadewo, Meriam Bellina, Rendy Kjaernett, Dwi Yan, Chika Waode, Dewi Yull, Maudy Wilhelmina, Tutie Kirana, Samuel Tobing, and TJ Ruth.
