Mayang revealed that her father, Doddy Sudrajat, has forbidden her from having romantic relationships during her studies. This decision was made so that Mayang can concentrate on her education.
"Daddy taught me discipline and to focus on my goals, focus on education first, don't date first, finish my bachelor's degree first," said Mayang as reported by detikhot.
Doddy Sudrajat also plays a significant role in guiding Mayang in her music career. She acknowledges that the support and direction from her father have greatly influenced her success in the music industry today.
"In my opinion, Daddy has artistic blood, so Daddy's artistic blood flows down to his children, from the late Kak Vanessa to me. Moreover, Daddy directed the late Kak Vanessa in everything, from acting, modeling, hosting, he applied all of that to her according to her character," Mayang shared.
Mayang revealed that she entered the entertainment industry on her own accord, without her father's coercion.
"No, I actually learned music on my own, not because of any pressure, it was truly my own desire," she added.
