The hearing was scheduled for mediation between the two parties. Unfortunately, the hearing was postponed because the mediator judge was unable to attend.

1. First Mediation

"Today was actually scheduled for the first mediation, but the mediator had other matters and was unable to attend, so the mediation is postponed for another 2 weeks," said Asfa Davy Bya, the plaintiff's legal representative at the Tangerang District Court on Tuesday (25/1/2022).

In the hearing, only the plaintiff's party was present. Meanwhile, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur did not attend the court. Apparently, they received information about the postponement of the hearing from the court.

2. Defendant Absent

"The defendant did not attend because he was informed that it will be rescheduled for the next 2 weeks," explained Asfa Davy Bya

Furthermore, Asfa explained that his three clients started participating in land savings investment program since 2014. They joined the investment program while working as Female Migrant Workers (TKI) in Hong Kong.

3. Illegal Act

"The lawsuit is an illegal act by 3 investor congregants in 2014 in Hong Kong. They are TKI and then brother Jam'an Nurchotib Mansur (Yusuf Mansur) came to give a lecture there. The congregation came because they received an invitation, and it was at that time that the land savings investment project was offered," said Asfa

Asfa Davy said that his clients were interested in participating in the investment because at that time Yusuf Mansur promised profit sharing. However, in reality, this promise has never been fulfilled until now.

4. Trying to Contact

"Who will participate in this land savings investment in the form of 1 square meter will be charged Rp2.2 million and register as a cooperative member Rp200 thousand. At that time, the name of the cooperative was Merah Putih," said Asfa Davy Bya

According to Davy, his three clients have tried to contact Ustaz Yusuf Mansur to ask for an explanation. However, Yusuf Mansur is difficult to contact. Moreover, to meet.

5. Taking Legal Steps

As a result, the three of them took legal steps by suing Yusuf Mansur in civil court.

"From 2014 until today, they have been asked several times about the progress of the land savings. They do not know and do not get a response. So they asked us to be represented (submit a lawsuit), we also sent a warning letter but it was not responded," he continued.

6. Want the Right to be Given

From the lawsuit, Asfa hopes that the panel of judges of the Tangerang District Court will declare that Ustaz Yusuf has committed an illegal act regarding the investment. Furthermore, he also wants his client's rights to be compensated with a value of Rp180 million.

"First, we request that Mr. Yusuf Mansyur be declared to have violated the law. Then, we will request compensation of Rp180 million each," he said.
