Mediation Process Fails, Divorce Trial of Virgoun and Inara Rusli Continues

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial of Virgoun and Inara Rusli at the West Jakarta Religious Court is still ongoing. Today, Wednesday (14/6), the trial resumed and the mediation between the two was declared unsuccessful.

This was conveyed by Wijoyono Hadi Sukrisno, Virgoun's legal counsel team, after the trial. He also said that after the mediation failed, the trial continued with the reading of the plaintiff's lawsuit, Inara Rusli.

"The trial's agenda today was two-fold. The first was a report on the mediation conducted yesterday, which was reported to the judges that the mediation failed. Nevertheless, the judges suggested that if there are points that need to be discussed or consulted outside, they are welcome to do so," said Wijoyono Hadi Sukrisno.

"But what is clear is that the formal mediation process is over and the mediation has failed and is continued with the second agenda, the reading of the lawsuit. For details, ask the plaintiff, we only listened to 11 requests," he added.

1. 11 Point Lawsuit

Kris added that there are several points outlined in the lawsuit. However, when asked further, Kris said that it would be better to ask the plaintiff directly about those points.

"With a fundamentum petendi position of around 78 fundamentum petendi, while there are 11 petitums. Later, the main points conveyed in the lawsuit can be asked to the concerned party, we listened to the reading of the lawsuit like that," he said.

2. Does Not Reveal the Cause of Mediation Failure

In addition, Virgoun's party could not convey the reason why mediation with Inara could fail. However, according to him, there are points from Inara that are not in line with Virgoun's life.

"The material cannot be conveyed during mediation, we also are not allowed to enter, so if asked about the details of what caused it to fail and why it did not reach a certain decision, we do not have access, except in the final decision in the copy of the decision on the front page that states the cause of the mediation failure, that too is only a specific item. There is a relationship with petitum related to the request in the lawsuit that is contradictory to the daily life of our client," he concluded.
