After that, the police finally became their mediator to mediate the case. This moment is also the first time Jerinx and Adam Deni met.
"Last night, Mr. J attended the summons from the investigator to appear at Polda Metro Jaya, specifically the Resmob unit that handles this case. He was present last night and was examined as a suspect for about 4 hours with 18 questions," said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Yusri Yunus during a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, on Saturday (14/8).
"Then this afternoon, we conducted mediation because we all know that there is a Circular Letter from the Chief of the National Police that we must obey. We prioritize restorative justice so that the suspect and the complainant can meet to discuss the problems they face. The police mediated to find a common ground," he added.

Yusri also stated that the mediation lasted for one hour. In the mediation, Jerinx has apologized to Adam Deni for his actions.
"Approximately nearly 1 hour, they had a conversation, with the hope that everything can be quickly resolved by prioritizing restorative justice here. The suspect J has apologized and the complainant has personally requested what brother J conveyed, that indeed he made threats through electronic media," said Yusri Yunus.

Although he has been forgiven, Yusri Yunus said that Adam Deni wants the legal process for Jerinx to continue as it should. He also stated that this is not the only mediation between Jerinx and Adam Deni.
"Personally, he has been forgiven but brother ADG also expressed that he wants the legal process to continue. As the police mediator, we cannot force it, it is his right, but on the other hand, we are still open to mediation until this case is sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office because there has been no agreement between the complainant and the suspect," he concluded.
