Welcoming Independence Day, Herman X Jamrud's Music Group Presents Something Different Through a Song 'Jas Merah'

Kapanlagi.com - A music group called Maharya presents something different to celebrate Independence Day through their latest single titled Jas Merah.

Led by Angga Satria (Vocalist), Iramp Ucamp (Guitarist), and Herman X Jambrud (drummer), they present a song with a 90s Rock music vibe.

In a press conference in Bogor, West Java, on Friday afternoon (13/8), Angga Satria shared a little background about the formation of Maharya. Not only that, it turns out that Maharya is also under the auspices of the WR Supratman foundation.

"The background of Maharya is not just a band, but it comes from different groups of patriotism, with so many boxes, political parties, and so on. Finally, we express it through music, we as the nation's children have a full responsibility to maintain unity. The reason behind the presence of Maharya is the unheard aspirations, and we are also under the WR Supratman foundation," said Angga Satria.

1. Not Too Publicized

In addition, former Jambrud band drummer, Herman, said that the second single from Maharya was actually not too publicized for commercial purposes. Because the main goal of the Jas Merah single is to foster a sense of patriotism among young people today.

"The second single from Maharya, 'Jas Merah,' should never forget history. Apart from commercial matters, you will always convey the message that love for the homeland is so important, even a part of faith," said Herman.

"This song was actually made in 2017 but has not been released anywhere at all. Our intention is not to commercialize it, regardless of the digital platform's popularity. So we don't look at the monetary value of feedback, but the song is known and serves to unite the elements of young people," he continued.

2. Different from Other Music Groups

Iram Ucamp also added that Maharya music group is different from other music groups. Because Maharya has the goal of fostering nationalism among young people.

"Actually, if it's from my songs, I can be considered as an industry person. Maharya is indeed different from the others, I am interested in their vision and mission, so this is a platform for musicians with high nationalism," said Iram Ucamp.
