Medina Zein Apologizes After Becoming a Suspect in Defamation Case, Marissya Icha's Legal Counsel: This Person is Very Antique

After becoming a suspect, Marissya revealed that Medina only sent an apology letter through her legal counsel. This clearly surprised Ahmad Ramzy, Marissya's legal counsel.

"I received an apology letter for the police report that made her a suspect. After all this, she apologizes, this person is very antique," said Ahmad Ramzy, Marissya's legal counsel, when met in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/1/2022).

1. Accused of Assault

Ahmad Ramzy's surprise at Medina Zein's behavior is not without reason. During the mediation, Medina's party was uncooperative and ended up making a report regarding the assault that was not committed by Marissya Icha.

"We had mediation at the beginning, and we were accused of committing assault reported to the South Jakarta Police. However, there was no physical contact between Icha and MZ. MZ even tried to provoke Icha to commit assault but was not provoked," explained Ramzy, who was a witness in Marissya's report.

2. No Peaceful Resolution

Despite issuing an apology, Marissya Icha remains firm in her stance. She will continue to pursue her legal case against Medina Zein.

"When there was a message of apology, my client decided not to seek a peaceful resolution, so it will continue. Firmly, it will continue," said Ramzy.

3. Withdrawal of Assault Report

Medina Zein apologizes for the defamation case reported by Marissya Icha. If she wants to receive an apology, Medina must withdraw the report regarding the alleged assault.

"She apologizes for the defamation report. Now, if she wants an apology, she should withdraw the assault report," said Ramzy.

4. Mutual Reports Starting From a Bag

The issue between Medina Zein and Marissya Icha started from the sale and purchase of branded bags. Marissya was the first to report Medina for alleged defamation and threats through electronic media.

Failed during mediation, Medina reported Marissya for alleged assault. Feeling that she did not do such a thing, Marissya retaliated by reporting Medina for alleged false reports.

Now, after Medina was designated as a suspect in Marissya's initial report, Medina once again made a report regarding defamation.
