Medina Zein's Report to Irwansyah on the Temporarily Halted 2 Billion Rupiah Embezzlement Case, Will There Be a Settlement?

Kapanlagi.com - Businessmen Medina Zein and Irwansyah founded a company named PT Bandung Berkah Bersama which operates the Bandung Makuta cake business. However, in October 2019, Medina reported Irwan to the Bandung Metropolitan Police with allegations that the actor had diverted company funds to his personal account amounting to 2 billion Rupiah.

After some time, it was revealed that the case had been temporarily halted by the police. This was confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bandung Metropolitan Police, AKBP Galih Indragiri, when contacted by phone on Monday (10/8/2020).

"Yes, for now we have temporarily halted it. (Regarding the reason for the suspension), we will announce it later," he said.

When asked about this, Medina Zein admitted that she had no knowledge. Lukman Azhari's wife has also not received a temporary termination letter from the Bandung Metropolitan Police.

"I haven't received any information, I haven't received the official letter. If it is stopped, we will proceed with pretrial," said Medina when contacted by phone.

2. Possibility of Peaceful Settlement?

Some time ago, Irwansyah made a statement that he wanted to resolve this case in a peaceful manner. Medina Zein also knows about it, but there has been no action from Irwansyah.

"Insha Allah, there is a possibility (of a peaceful settlement). But there has been no conversation, no meeting, if it is possible in the near future. But let's just wait and see," she concluded.
