However, when she met the suspect who ran away with her car, Caren Delano said she actually felt sorry. Because the perpetrator, who used to be her private driver, is already old.
"Actually, it's my management that is really affected by this, and I am also affected but this man is already around 54 years old, I can't help but feel sorry for him," said Caren Delano at the South Jakarta Metro Setiabudi Police Station on Wednesday afternoon (4/10).
Caren said that she felt reminded of her parents, especially her late father, when she saw her private driver. Because of that, Caren admitted that she has already forgiven the perpetrator.
"I feel like I am reminded that I also have parents, reminded of my late father who is already very old," she said.
"What is the motive, why me, if asked how I feel, in my heart, I forgive," she continued.
Although she has already forgiven, Caren asserted that the legal process will continue. In addition, from this incident, Caren Delano admitted that she has learned a lot.
"The legal process will still continue, I forgive him, this is a big lesson for me, hopefully it becomes an inspiration for all friends, all Indonesian citizens, I learn a lot and this is a new experience for me," she concluded.
