Melaney Ricardo Reveals the Hardest Part When Tested Positive for Covid-19, Quarantine and Unable to Meet Her Children

Kapanlagi.com - Melaney Ricardo shares her difficult times after being tested positive for Covid-19 a few months ago. Since being exposed, Melaney immediately went into quarantine and self-isolation at home. 

And during her time at home, she had to be alone because her children temporarily stayed at their grandmother's house. This is what made Melaney very sad. Not because of her illness, but because being separated from her family is something she fears the most. 

1. A Month Without Meeting the Children

This touching story was shared on his latest YouTube video. At that time, he shared several videos while undergoing self-isolation at home. In there, as he walked around his empty house, he immediately felt sadness.

"This is one of the saddest moments, being quarantined at home for a month. This is the children's room, Chloe's room. So every time I see this room, I feel so sad because I haven't seen them for a month," said Melaney Ricardo as quoted from his YouTube channel.

"And the house is empty, usually they play here, it's so tidy. It has never been this tidy, usually it's messy," he continued.

2. Must Test Negative Twice

In addition, even though he has tested negative, Melaney still cannot meet his children immediately. He revealed that he has to be tested again for the second time and must be declared negative before he can meet his children again.

"It's really sad, guys, because I haven't seen my children for over a month. So, it has been a really long time since I last saw them. I haven't slept with them, and usually we are always together," he said.

"Yeah, they don't understand because when it comes to children, we have to wait for 2 negative tests before we can hug them again, meet them again. But now they have to stay away from their children," he added.

3. 2020 The Heaviest Year

Melaney herself considers that this year 2020 has been the heaviest year for her. Nevertheless, she can still take wisdom and lessons from the events that have befallen her.  

"As I said, 2020 is quite a tough year for me and the children," said Melaney.  

"So, 2020 is a year with a lot of lessons, and if you say there are many trials from God as well. But there are also many blessings, so we are stronger as a family, learning many things. What is certain is that I appreciate even the simplest thing like being able to sleep with the children, that is already a blessing, extraordinary," she added.
