Melly Goeslaw, Giring Ganesha and Pinkan Mambo Become Judges of Online Auditions for Pop Academy Indosiar

Kapanlagi.com - After producing various dangdut stars through the Dangdut Academy (DA) and Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) events, Indosiar is now focused on finding new talents in the pop music genre through an event called Pop Academy. Registration is open from August 7th to August 28th, 2020.

Meanwhile, the audition process will start today, Saturday (8/8), and will be broadcasted exclusively LIVE on vidio.com at 15.00 WIB. The participants will compete to showcase their best singing abilities in front of the judges.

1. 3 Online Pop Academy Jury

The chosen jury members are top musicians from the local pop music industry. They include Giring Ganesha, Pinkan Mambo, and Melly Goeslaw.

These three jury members will have the absolute right to determine whether the audition participants are eligible to participate in Pop Academy. The online audition will take place from August 8th to August 30th, every Saturday and Sunday.

2. Basic Registration Requirements

Here are some requirements that you should note if you want to register for Pop Academy:

1. Pop Academy participants must be Indonesian citizens.
2. Male/female aged 14-25 years old (as of August 2020).
3. Have the ability to sing pop songs.
4. Have experience performing in entertainment stages.

3. Online Registration Steps

If the above basic requirements have been fulfilled, you can directly go to the POP ACADEMY website and click the register button. After that, you will be directed to the page for filling out personal data or biodata form.

Next, you need to upload several photo documents:

1. Valid ID Card/Driver's License/Birth Certificate/Student Card
2. Close-up photo
3. Full body photo

These three photos must be uploaded in JPEG/PNG format with a maximum size of 5 MB.

4. Sending Singing Video Recordings

The final step is to send 2 video recordings of you singing pop songs solo, both in Indonesian and English. The first video should be a slowbeat pop song, while the second video should be an upbeat pop song (order is not specified). The duration of each video should be between 3 to 5 minutes.

Please note that you are allowed to use a minus one track or be accompanied by 1 musical instrument. However, your vocal sound must be louder than the volume of the minus one track or the musical instrument. Meanwhile, the submitted videos must not be edited or mixed, both visually and audibly.

And equally important, prospective participants must not be under contract with a label/recording company/artist management. Furthermore, you must be willing to participate in this competition until the end.

Online registration is open from August 7, 2020, and will close on August 28, 2020, at 24.00. So don't miss out and good luck!
