Millen Cyrus Breaks into the American Market Without a Sponsor, Proud to Represent Indonesia

After being silent for a while on screen, celebrity Millen Cyrus is busy pursuing a career on the international stage. The nephew of singer Ashanty has just returned to Indonesia after spending almost three months in the United States. Not just for a vacation, Millen is apparently trying his luck in the modeling world of Uncle Sam.

The person whose real name is Millendaru Prakasa expressed his gratitude for breaking into the international market. He successfully received approval from a modeling agency there to represent Indonesia.

"Alhamdulillah my current activity is in the modeling world. I just got back from America because there was a fashion show there as well. For the modeling agency event, I happened to be approved yesterday for American International to represent Indonesia," he said when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (9/2/2026).

This achievement is certainly a source of pride for Millen. He admitted that becoming an international model has been his dream since childhood. Unlike his aunt, who succeeded as a singer, Millen chose the catwalk route to bring honor to the nation.

"Alhamdulillah I am very proud because this has been my dream since I was little, my ambition to become international. Like an artist perhaps, but the difference is I'm not a singing artist, but a model," she said.

However, the journey to that success is not easy. Millen had to fight independently from the registration process to departure. She shared that she did not use any instant routes or sponsorship assistance to reach this point.

"The challenges definitely started from small things like the need for tickets and I went alone, there was no sponsor. And for the agency there, it was just to accommodate things like hotel accommodation and so on. But when we are there, we really have to be independent in everything, we have to be self-sufficient and there’s no one to help," explained Millen.

The selection process took quite a long time. Millen admitted that he had submitted his application a year ago. His patience and perseverance finally paid off when his work visa was approved.

"I happened to apply through an agency and also on my own. The process took a year, but I only received an email when I was approved (for the visa). And it seems like that was the way it was meant to be," he added.

Now, Millen is waiting for the next news to return to America. He hinted that he will likely fly back there in April to continue his work contract.

"As for my contract in America, I haven't been informed yet because I need special permission to work, and I might be notified this April about going there. God willing," he concluded.
