Mira Lesmana The Cause of the Disappearance of 'Schubring' from Nicholas Saputra's Middle Name

Kapanlagi.com - Mira Lesmana recently shared a unique story about how she used to recruit Nicholas Saputra to play the character Rangga in the movie AADC. Her choice can be considered very appropriate, considering that everyone has already labeled Nicsap as Rangga because of his iconic role.

Previously, Mira revealed that Nicsap had auditioned for another role in the movie AADC but failed. The German-blooded man only succeeded when he was called for the second time to play the character Rangga.

"In my opinion, sometimes there is fate in a role. It's possible that we have seen him before, playing a different character and it didn't fit or wasn't what we imagined. And when he (Nicsap) read for Rangga, we finally got him," said Mirles as quoted by KapanLagi.com from Luna Maya's Youtube channel.

1. Middle Name Nicholas Saputra Missing

However, besides that, there is still one interesting fact about Nicsap that may not be widely known to the public. Once again, Mira reveals it specially for Luna.

For those of you who don't know yet, Nicsap's real name is Nicholas Schubring Saputra. Now, the question is, why did his middle name with a German touch disappear?

"At that time, his name was still difficult. His name was Saputra Schubring. So I had to negotiate with him, 'Nic, I can't possibly use this name, it's difficult.'" Actually, I once suggested Nico Saputra, it's easier. But then it became Nicholas Saputra," Mirles recalled, surprising Luna who didn't expect it.
