Mother of Dreams Visited by Vidi Aldiano, Gives a Warm Embrace

A mother's longing for her child who has passed away is indeed difficult to express in words. Vidi Aldiano's mother, Besbarini, admitted that she received a remedy for her longing through a very memorable dream.

In that dream, Besbarini saw her son performing again on stage. She felt that the dream was very real as it depicted the late artist's habits during his lifetime while he was still active in the music industry.

"I once did, finally just once. I really wanted to dream of him, and in that dream, Vidi came to the stage, and I always accompanied him, watching with Dad from behind the stage," said Besbarini.

"Then he came, then hugged me. That's it. But it felt relieved, it felt relieved. I conveyed the longing of the deceased," continued Besbarini when met by KapanLagi.com at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (24/3/2026).

Harry Kiss, the father, also responded to the dream story with a belief he heard. According to him, wordless interaction in dreams is actually a good sign regarding the presence of the deceased figure.

"They say, they say again, if we are visited by Vidi but Vidi doesn’t speak, that’s true. But if he talks like this, like that, usually that’s a spirit. Isn’t that right? So he doesn’t speak. If we are visited, hugged or something like that, it is usually considered truly Vidi," he said.

Besbarini emphasized that in the dream there was absolutely no conversation. The deceased only gave a smile and a hug, which was his trademark every time he finished performing on stage.

"No, it was just a really warm hug. Masya Allah. That's really Vidi after singing, that's how he is," he said.

"So what he did was hug, and because he really knew that I only needed hugs from all the kids. Your hugs are temporary, but in my heart, they are forever," concluded Besbarini.
