Mother Wants a Daughter, Gebby Vesta Treated Like a Girl Since Childhood

Ussy asked at the beginning when Gebby felt different. Unexpectedly, Gebby has been called 'bencong' since the age of 5.

1. Likes Playing with Girls

Although Gebby has been mocked as a transgender since childhood, she doesn't care and becomes even stronger. Every time there is an event like a celebration, the desire to perform is already within her.

"I like playing with girls' toys, playing with girls. Since the age of five, I didn't want to do any other sports besides dancing. From the age of five, I have been agile," Gebby said.

2. Mother's Support

This different feeling indirectly receives support from her mother. As she doesn't have a daughter, Gebby's mother often treats her like a girl.

"So my mother's treatment, since I was little, treated me like a girl. Because she really wanted to have a daughter. Finally, when she realized that her child was different, my mother was the one who never opposed me. So when my father said, 'Don't dress your child in girl's clothes,' she didn't say, 'It's okay, it's okay.' So my mother always said, it's okay," Gebby recalled.

3. Want Girls Clothes

Ussy then asked what kind of girls clothes she meant, like skirts and the like. Gebby then explained what her style of dress was like when she was little.

"For example, like that shirt, she wants a shirt with Tweety, Hello Kitty pictures. If she wants a school bag, it has to have cartoon pictures, it has to have Hello Kitty," she concluded.
