Mpok Alpa Admits to Having Experienced the Biggest Argument with Her Husband Due to Jealousy

However, who would have thought that the conflict actually brought extraordinary blessings into their lives.

This couple is known to be relaxed in facing conflicts, but there was one moment of argument that is acknowledged as the most intense. Nevertheless, they managed to get through it with open communication and understanding.

"So when we get angry, it doesn't last long, just an hour of teasing, being sweet to each other. Sometimes it's him, sometimes it's us. Random," said Ajie Darmaji, Mpok Alpa's husband, in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, recently.

Mpok Alpa added that the dynamics of their relationship are indeed unpredictable. Both arguments and reconciliations happen without a definite pattern.

"We fight randomly, and we make up randomly too," said Mpok Alpa.

Ajie Darmaji also shared a principle he holds, which is not to let arguments drag on for more than a day. This principle has become a shared guideline in their relationship.

"Sometimes I teach him, 'Mah, if you’re angry, don’t let it last more than a day, you can’t, it’s a sin.' Until now, he follows it. That’s why when he gets angry, what happened last year became twins," he said.

2. The Biggest Argument

That moment became the biggest argument they experienced during their marriage. Mpok Alpa even referred to it as the most intense conflict, which ultimately resulted in a twin pregnancy.

"That was the biggest anger," she said.

The argument was triggered by jealousy sparked by other people's comments. Mpok Alpa admitted she was carried away by the atmosphere because someone intentionally provoked her emotions.

"The point is, someone was stirring me up, I got carried away by emotions, carried away by the atmosphere," she revealed.

3. Spices in Relationships

Even so, she does not deny that she is indeed the jealous type. For her, jealousy is the spice in a household that keeps the relationship alive.

"I am a jealous person. Thank God I am jealous. If there’s no jealousy, then the household wouldn't be fun, right?" she said.

Her husband understands this attitude and chooses to respond with affection. He believes that when a woman is angry, she should be approached with tenderness to calm her emotions.

"When a woman is angry, she needs to be treated with love like that," said Yudhistira.

4. Causes of Arguments

The argument occurred because Mpok Alpa's friend brought up an old issue that should have been forgotten. She regrets this attitude, which only disturbed their relationship.

"No, the point is that past moments are being discussed again, stirred up by friends. It brings up emotions. For me, why should we talk about things from the past again, it’s more about stressing that," she explained.

After that conflict, Mpok Alpa chose not to be friends anymore with the person who triggered the issue. She wants to maintain the peace of her household from negative influences.

"No, I’m not friends anymore, I can’t be friends with that person again, that’s it," she said.

5. Melted After Being Scolded

Although the conflict was quite significant, both ensured that there was never any intention to end the marriage. For Yudhistira, speaking about separation was not something to be said under any circumstances.

"No way. A man should never say that. If he wants to say it a thousand times, that's fine, but I will never say a word about it," he said.

Mpok Alpa concluded this story with a funny tale about finally melting after being scolded by her husband. Although she was initially angry, the atmosphere softened again because the argument took place in the bedroom.

"I was a bit angry. Then he asked, 'What do you want?' He challenged me. 'You know what I want.' Well, eventually I melted, because we were fighting in the bedroom, right? So, it's fine," she said.
