Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier have finally taken an important step towards their wedding. The two have arranged for a marriage recommendation letter at the KUA Mampang, South Jakarta.
Although the administrative process is taking place in Jakarta, this celebrity couple has chosen Bali as their wedding location. This choice is not only due to the beauty of the surroundings but also for reasons of privacy and a more sacred atmosphere.
"It has been conveyed to us by the KUA, the request for a marriage recommendation or to use the marriage services," said the Head of KUA Mampang, Sanwani Soehaly, Thursday (24/4/2025).
The recommendation letter is submitted by the representatives of each party, not directly by Luna and Maxime. "Submitted by the representatives of both parties, namely the representative from Maxime's side and the representative from Luna's side," he explained.
This letter is an important requirement for marrying outside of one's domicile, and in this case, Bali has been chosen as the location for the marriage ceremony.
"They submitted a recommendation letter for the marriage, which, God willing, will be held in Bali Province," explained Sanwani.
Even so, the KUA did not provide detailed information about the time and location of the wedding event. This was adjusted according to the request of Luna and Maxime themselves.
"As per their request, to maintain the privacy of their wedding from the vows to the reception," he revealed.
"Both of them wanted the vibe of the wedding vows to be more sacred and more touching," concluded Sanwani. This request shows that the couple wants their wedding to feel more intimate and not caught up in excessive public attention. /aal
