The love story between Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier continues to attract public attention, especially since both announced their involvement in the film Gundik. However, behind this big-screen project, the couple is also in the spotlight due to their wedding plans that have begun to be picked up by the media. "Just pray for us," said Maxime at XXI Plaza Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Wednesday (23/4/2025).
Not only Maxime, but Luna also chose to respond similarly when asked about the preparations for their happy day. They agree that the support of prayers means more than sharing the details of their plans openly. "Just pray for us," said Luna.
The public is curious about the engagement ceremony that reportedly has taken place. However, Maxime admitted that the moment was not planned formally and occurred in a relaxed atmosphere. "It was just casual. I was just thinking about the (film) Gundik," said Maxime.
Although reluctant to disclose the date or other details, Maxime still expressed his hope that many people will watch the film Gundik, which he considers an important work in his career. "I hope many people watch it," Maxime wished.
When asked about the extent of the wedding preparations, Maxime chose to give a similar answer to before. He seems to want to keep their relationship privacy as best as possible. "Just pray for us, just pray for us," replied Maxime.
Luna also rekindled her hopes for the success of the film they starred in together. She mentioned that the success of the film Gundik is also part of their happiness this year.
"The preparations went smoothly, hopefully the film Gundik will do well. Because May 22 is just around the corner, I hope the film will be successful," said Luna.
Meanwhile, Luna added that her birthday this time was not filled with luxurious gifts, but rather prayers from her closest people. She hinted that the special moment was more filled with reflection and hope. "Don't say this year sorry I can't give a gift, just give prayers," Luna concluded with a small laugh.
