Ndhank Surahman Apologizes for Issuing a Summons, Stinky Will Still Perform the Song 'Mungkinkah' with a One Percent Royalty

Kapanlagi.com - Former guitarist of the band Stinky named Ndhank Surahman Hartono has issued an open summons to Stinky Reborn and Andre Taulany. Ndhank asks them not to perform his song titled Mungkinkah.

Feeling ignored by the first summons, Ndhank launches a second summons that is not to be taken lightly. He demands compensation of Rp 35 billion from his fellow colleague.

1. Apologies and Withdrawal of Summons

However, after the demand for compensation of Rp 35 billion became public consumption, Ndhank Surahman apologized and withdrew the summons. He felt that the initial purpose of the summons was not like that, but only wanted to mediate.

"I, Ndhank Surahman Suhartono, would like to clarify and apologize to all viewers in Indonesia for the steps I have taken. Namely, the steps in the second summons with my legal representative, Mr. Firdaus Oiwobo," said Ndhank quoted from his Instagram post, Wednesday (10/1/2024).

"From the beginning, I made the prohibition video or summons with the aim of being able to mediate and sit down with Andre Taulany and the Stinky friends. To professionally discuss the direct licensing of my songs. That's why I immediately realized that this is not what I want and expect," continued Ndhank.

2. Still Using the Song 'Mungkinkah'

Bassist Stinky Reborn named Irwan Batara also spoke out about Ndhank Surahman's apology request. He feels that mediation songs are no longer necessary because he knows what his colleague wants.

"Mediation is not necessary. We already know what he wants. He only asks for two percent if we sing two songs for him. Later, we won't sing his songs anymore, only 'Jangan Tutup Dirimu' will remain as a possibility. Maybe we will give him one percent later. The value will be the same as what we gave him before. It's all the same in the end," said Irwan firmly when contacted by the media, Wednesday (17/1/2024).
