Nervous Performance at Java Jazz Festival 2023, Titi DJ: My Hands Are Cold

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Titi DJ performed on the first day of Java Jazz Festival 2023 held at Ji-Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Friday (2/6/2023). Titi DJ performed brilliantly on the Teh Botol Sosro Stage at 6:30 pm. The Diva opened her act with the song Dunia Boleh Tertawa.

The 57-year-old singer admitted to feeling nervous while performing on stage due to the overwhelming number of attendees at Java Jazz Festival 2023.

"Thank you. It's been a long time since I sang on a big stage like this. One of my achievements is being able to perform at this amazing festival," said Titi DJ on the Java Jazz Festival 2023 stage, Friday (2/6/2023).

"So there is still one pride that I can note in my music career. If you hold my hand, it's very cold, sorry if it looks nervous," she added.

1. Performs the Song 'Salahkah Aku'

Despite feeling nervous, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the Diva's stage performance. This was evident from the full seats provided, which were completely occupied during Titi DJ's performance.

"Feeling unworthy to sing a song about guilt, but for this jazz event, we'll change it. We'll make it more guilt-ridden," said Titi DJ before singing the song Salahkah Aku.

2. Performs a Cover of an American Musician's Song

In addition to singing his hit songs, Titi DJ also performed a cover song by American jazz musician, Chet Baker, titled Just Friend. The former wife of Ovy Rif also mesmerized the audience with her performance of the song.

"It was exhausting to practice. Titi sang along in one sequence. It was like practicing for half of my life," she said.
