Netizens Say Islam Forbids Touching Dogs, Al Ghazali Provides Clever Answer

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, Nia Ramadhani received a lot of criticism for owning a dog. And not long after, it's Al Ghazali's turn to be criticized by netizens regarding the issue of dogs.

Through his Instagram, the eldest son of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty uploaded a moment with his Siberian Husky dog. And from the photo caption, Al named his dog Jude.

"My lovely Jude," Al Ghazali wrote on his Instagram.

1. Prohibited to Keep Dogs

This photo of Al Ghazali with a dog apparently sparked various reactions from netizens. Although many were impressed with his pet, there were also many who criticized Al for violating religious prohibition to keep dogs. 

"Islam completely forbids touching dogs and pigs," wrote the account aisyahzubirr.

"How can a Muslim keep a dog?" added the account apple_piww.

"Raising dogs is also forbidden. The house will not be guarded by angels if you raise dogs," redendhaaden.

2. Al Ghazali's Intelligent Response

Shortly after the account commented on the prohibition of touching dogs, Al Ghazali responded. With a cool head, Al replied with an intelligent answer. 

"You can pat their heads as long as you don't touch their saliva," answered Al Ghazali. 

Al's comment immediately received a lot of support from other netizens. As of today, Al's comment has been liked by more than 890 people.
