New Facts Emerge, Legal Representatives Say Adam Deni and Ahmad Sahroni Once Went on Vacation Together to Bali

Kapanlagi.com - Adam Deni's lawyer, Herwanto, revealed another fact behind the Adam Deni case reported by Ahmad Sahroni. He claimed that his client has a closeness with Ahmad Sahroni, even saying that Adam Deni and Ahmad Sahroni have vacationed together in Bali.

When met at the North Jakarta District Court on Monday (3/14), Herwanto said that there were actually many things that his client wanted to reveal during the trial. Herwanto revealed that this was originally told by Adam Deni to his girlfriend.

"Actually, there are many things that Adam Deni wants to reveal directly. He has gone on vacation with AS and they were close. Well, this is going to be revealed, he wants to send a letter. He told everything to his girlfriend," said Herwanto.

1. Ever Made a Letter

Not only that, Herwanto also conveyed that Adam Deni had once made a letter to be delivered to Ahmad Sahroni. However, the letter was not sent. Herwanto also said that his client wanted to reveal everything he knew.

"One of them is that Adam Deni has also made a letter that was sent to the US, but the letter was cancelled because according to us, when AS was in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast, it was already settled, so it was not given," he said.

"If that's the case, Adam Deni said 'I will tell the truth about what he knows', he should have come today to deliver his letter. He came to convey everything he knew about what he experienced, he heard directly together with AS," he added.

2. Violation of the ITE Law

It is known that Adam Deni Gearaka was charged together with Ni Made Dwita Anggari for transmitting and transferring other people's electronic documents that are confidential in one of his Instastory posts.

For this act, Adam Deni and Ni Made were charged with Article 48 paragraph (3) jo Article 32 paragraph (3) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions as amended and supplemented by the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning amendment of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions jo Article 55 paragraph (1) ke-1 KUHP Subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (2) jo Article 32 paragraph (2) and more subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) jo Article 32 paragraph (1).

3. Hurting the People's Feelings

Previously, according to Herwanto, Ahmad Sahroni's actions seemed to undermine political tactics. However, many people want to occupy his position as a public official and do various things to avoid hurting the people's feelings.

"We also dream of becoming members of parliament, dreaming of becoming President, but before our dreams come true, we don't hurt anyone, we don't report anyone," he said.

4. Record a New History

In addition, Herwanto said that the case between Ahmad Sahroni and Adam Deni, became a new history of public officials' arbitrariness towards their own people.

"So if the story now is that our representatives have recorded history by reporting on their own people," he said.

5. Adam Deni Does Not Need to be Detained

Furthermore, Herwanto believes that as a representative of the people and a political figure, a member of the People's Representative Council (DPR) should already be familiar with restorative justice. Where if the suspect has already apologized, the police have no right to detain the suspect.

"Even in the circular letter from the National Police Chief, the perpetrator has already shown remorse and apologized, so he doesn't need to be detained anymore," said Herwanto as Adam Deni's legal representative.

"The fact is that even though the case has gone to trial, if there is an apology, then restorative justice should be applied," he continued.
