Nikita Mirzani Observes Ramadan in Pondok Bambu Prison, Experienced Toothache

Sensational artist Nikita Mirzani has to observe the fasting of Ramadan this year behind the bars of Pondok Bambu Prison, East Jakarta. Although she is in custody, the condition of this mother of three is reported to be in good health. This was directly stated by her lawyer, Usman Lawara, after visiting Nikita.

Usman assured that his client did not experience any serious health problems while being held in Pondok Bambu Prison. Although it was previously reported that she was unwell and had to be rushed to the hospital during the trial, her physical condition is now considered stable.

"The condition is thankfully healthy, healthy. There is nothing wrong, not really, healthy," said Usman Lawara when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (24/2/2026).

However, Usman does not deny that Nikita still occasionally complains about recurring toothache. This illness had indeed been a hindrance for Nikita some time ago, but it seems it does not dampen her spirit to continue her activities within the prison environment. "Well, the last one is a toothache. Until now, it still recurs, sometimes it hurts, sometimes the pain appears. That's how it is," he explained.

Regarding Nikita's activities during the month of Ramadan in East Jakarta, Usman admitted that he does not know the details of his client's routine. However, he is confident that Nikita continues to observe fasting and other religious activities with devotion despite the limitations of her movement.

"Wow, I don't know how she is doing there on a daily basis. Surely, people worship is also important, right? It's not just about fasting. God willing, she is worshiping devoutly inside," said Usman.

Regarding the criminal legal process that led to his detention, Usman explained the developments of the cassation effort currently underway at the Supreme Court. His party is still waiting for the verdict and hopes for good news for Nikita.

"The last cassation was in January, we are in the process of reviewing it. The documents have probably been sent to the Supreme Court. Basically, we hope for the best," he explained regarding Nikita's criminal legal process.

Although he misses freedom and the moments spent with family during Eid, Nikita is said to remain strong during his detention at Pondok Bambu. He even continues to encourage his legal team to fight for justice, including in the civil lawsuit against Reza Gladys.

"He said, 'Well then keep chasing, Bang,' he said like that. 'Make sure to keep chasing this so it doesn't get away,' like that. Well, it's not about chasing or getting away, but this is about justice," Usman concluded, mimicking Nikita's message.
