Nikita Mirzani turns out to be one of the people who advocate for the legalization of marijuana in Indonesia. This is after an increasing number of people were caught with marijuana drugs by the police.
"In my opinion, it's better to be like the Netherlands and America where marijuana is now legal. So, just legalize it," said Nikita Mirzani when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station, Monday (14/6).
In addition, the mother of three children is somewhat pessimistic about the drug eradication program always voiced by the police. Because, even though many have been caught, it doesn't make people out there afraid to consume drugs.
"If it comes to eliminating drugs from this country, it's quite difficult because certain people are also the ones who bring drugs into Indonesia until they can be consumed by many people," she said.
Instead, Nikita Mirzani has been paying attention that those who are caught are not major dealers but only users. So, it's not impossible that more and more people will try to use these illegal substances.
"Because she keeps getting caught. It's better to catch a lot, catching trash is okay, but if she's only caught a little, what's the point. It makes me dizzy," Nikita Mirzani concluded.
