Nikita Mirzani Withdraws Civil Lawsuit Against Reza Gladys

Nikita Mirzani has decided to withdraw the breach of contract lawsuit against Reza Gladys that was previously filed in the South Jakarta District Court. This decision was communicated through her attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, who confirmed that the withdrawal letter has been submitted to the court.

This step is taken as an official stance by Nikita to end the ongoing civil legal process. Fahmi stated that the withdrawal has been accepted by the court.

"Regarding the issues of Nikita Mirzani, I can confirm that I indeed submitted a withdrawal letter yesterday," said Fahmi in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (15/7/2025).

The letter pertains to a breach of contract lawsuit that was previously filed against Reza Gladys and several related parties. The administrative process for the withdrawal is said to have been completed."The withdrawal letter is related to the breach of contract lawsuit that we submitted to the South Jakarta District Court and the letter has been received," said Fahmi.

According to Fahmi, the withdrawal of the lawsuit was made after he had a lengthy discussion with his client, Nikita. The result of the discussion led to the decision to focus first on the criminal process."I have submitted the withdrawal letter because after I discussed and dialogued with Nikita, she asked me to focus on the criminal case first," he revealed.

The criminal case in question is a report of alleged extortion and money laundering (TPPU) that is currently being processed. Nikita feels that this criminal matter is more urgent to address."Because, you know, when there are two issues, we have to take a stance, there has to be a scale of priorities. Well, the priority scale is that I have to concentrate on the criminal case, like that, so we took the stance to withdraw the breach of contract lawsuit effective from yesterday," Fahmi said.

Fahmi ensured that there was no other reason behind the withdrawal of this civil lawsuit. Full focus is given because the nature of criminal cases is different from civil ones."There is no other reason because this is a matter of priority scale. Criminal and civil cases are two different things; civil cases relate to formal truth where the judge is passive," he said.

He also further explained the importance of concentration when facing criminal trials, which have a heavier burden of proof. According to him, criminal cases require more complex preparedness."In criminal cases, the material truth is where the judge is active; many witnesses will be examined. After I studied, there are quite a few files and many witnesses, we need to concentrate and focus on this criminal case," he added.
