Nikita Mirzani's Report Escalates to Investigation, Lolly Will Be Re-examined - Evidence is Clear

Kapanlagi.com - Investigators from the South Jakarta Metro Police have conducted a case presentation regarding Nikita Mirzani's report against Vadel Badjideh involving allegations of sexual intercourse and abortion.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, explained that the results of this case presentation decided to elevate the status of the case from the investigation stage to the inquiry stage.

"Then, Nurma said, the investigators have conducted a case presentation for this case and it has escalated to investigation," said Nurma Dewi at the South Jakarta Police, Friday (25/10/2024).

With the investigation status that has been established, the investigator plans to re-summon Vadel Badjideh and several other witnesses.

"So, the investigator has prepared re-summons for witnesses, victims, and those reported, that has been prepared by the investigator," explained Nurma.

In this development, the investigators also plan to issue an official summons for Vadel. However, Nurma explained that the schedule for the summons is still in the planning stage after the official status of the case was elevated.

"We are just scheduling it, last night it just elevated from investigation to prosecution," concluded Nurma.

AKP Nurma Dewi emphasized that the evidence and witness statements have been collected by the investigator to strengthen the ongoing legal process. According to her, this evidence serves as a strong basis for elevating the status of this case.

"The evidence that has been collected is clear from the witnesses and then from the expert witness that has been with the investigator, that is a strong basis for the investigator to elevate from the investigation stage to prosecution," she explained.

2. Authority of the Investigator

Regarding the presence of Lolly, the child of Nikita Mirzani, Nurma stated that the summons for her is still within the authority of the investigator. According to Nurma, if Laura's presence is indeed needed, the police will coordinate to bring her to the South Jakarta Police.

"That mechanism is with the investigator, the authority of the investigator. If LM can indeed be brought to the South Jakarta Police, then she will be brought. However, if it must be to a safe house, the investigator will definitely go there. What is clear is that the testimony is what is needed," she said.
