Nikita Willy Doesn't Mind Being Called Heartless to Her Child, Wants Baby Izz to Not Be Choosy with Food

According to him, this method has a positive impact on the child because now Issa Xander can be said to not be picky about food.

"Alhamdulillah, he is not picky about food. Because we never get used to it, when he refuses food, I immediately replace it with food that he likes. Because it will make the child become a picky eater, like that," said Nikita Willy.

"For example, if he refuses the food I give, he won't eat it. He will wait for the next mealtime to get a different menu. So, whether he likes it or not, if he's hungry, he will still eat," she continued.

Because of this upbringing pattern, Nikita Willy said that Baby Izz is very happy when he is with his grandmother. Because his grandmother always gives him what he wants.

However, this is not a problem for Nikita Willy because, if she is no longer with her grandmother, Baby Izz will follow her rules again.

"According to my mother, I am very cruel. When Isa is with her grandmothers, she is very happy. Sometimes, if she only wants to eat fried food, her grandmother will give it to her. If she wants to eat biscuits, she will be given. But when she is at home, she has to follow the rules that I have and that I give her," she concluded.

The event held by Royco in welcoming National Children's Day 2023 was attended by Amaryllis Esti Wijono, as the Director of Nutrition Unilever Indonesia, Dr. Miza Dito Afrizal SpA, Pediatrician, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dodik Briawan, MCN, Professor at IPB, and Dr. Maria Endang Sumiwi, MPH, Director General of Public Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Hopefully this campaign can help mothers distinguish between myths and facts about complementary feeding, as well as inspire them to create complementary feeding menus that are not only nutritious but also able to enhance their child's 'Taste Adventure' experience, without any worries," concluded Amaryllis.
