"I really followed everything my parents said, so the rituals I performed can be considered old school but I like it!" wrote the woman who has been close to Indra since 2016.

2. Fasting - Flower Bath

The ritual she called old school includes reciting the Quran every day and taking a flower bath.

"From having to recite the Quran every day to completing it. Fasting, seclusion, remembrance during makeup, flower bath!" explained Nikita.

3. Didn't Meet for a Week

Yes, Nikita didn't take seclusion lightly. It turns out that before the wedding ceremony held today, Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan hadn't seen each other for more than a week.

"For your information, Indra and I haven't met for about a week. So we just met during the wedding ceremony," she said to the media during a virtual press conference through the bridestory YouTube channel.

4. Malam Bainai

In addition to seclusion, Nikita Willy also held a malam bainai at her house. Malam Bainai is the last night for Minangkabau brides-to-be to experience freedom as single women.

"On the morning of October 14th, I held a religious gathering at home, asking for permission from my parents to marry Indra and attended by many guests from my mother's relatives and Indra's family," explained Nikita Willy.
