Niko Al Hakim Does Not Attend the Trial, Judges Decide Rachel Vennya Officially Divorced

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial of Rachel Vennya and Niko Al Hakim was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court. In the trial that is still in the mediation agenda, Niko did not attend and the Panel of Judges proceeded with the trial with the witness agenda.

After that, the Panel of Judges immediately decided to end their marriage through verstek (default judgement) because Rachel Vennya's husband did not attend and did not appoint a legal representative.

"Earlier, the agenda of the trial was still mediation. Because Mr. Niko did not attend, the trial proceeded directly to the witnesses and the divorce was immediately decided," said Tesa Prayugi Putra, Rachel Vennya's legal representative, after the trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday (16/2).

1. Don't Want to Talk

Rachel Vennya herself doesn't want to talk about her divorce with her husband. Before the trial ended, she also uploaded her apology to the media on her social media account.

As a result, after the trial, Rachel Vennya, accompanied by her relatives, went straight to her parked vehicle and left the media crew without saying a word.

2. Cracked Marriage

As known, the issue of Rachel Vennya's broken marriage with Niko Al Hakim has been sensed by the public since early 2021. And this was further strengthened by the news that the mother of two has filed for divorce from Niko in early February. 

Although officially divorced now, Rachel Vennya expressed that she will still take care of and raise their two children, Xabiru and Aurorae.
