The South Jakarta Religious Court was supposed to visit the home of Nisya Ahmad and Andika Rodadi on August 15, 2024. The visit would serve as consideration for the judge before determining the verdict on Nisya Ahmad's divorce lawsuit. However, Nisya rejected the visit for the sake of the child. Read the full story!
"Based on the interim decision dated August 15, the Panel of Judges will inspect the location where they reside. This includes examining objects, both movable and immovable," said Nata Sasmita, the attorney for Andika, on Thursday (29/8/2024).
Unfortunately, Raffi Ahmad's younger sibling reportedly rejected the visit that was to be conducted by the court officials. The reason is that they are concerned that the arrival of the court officials would worsen the child's psychological condition.
"On August 16, the plaintiff, through their attorney, submitted an objection letter regarding the site inspection," Nata said.
"The reason is for the child's comfort, and they feel they do not want to be disturbed there. Perhaps if the officials come, they might think there are things that are inappropriate," Nata continued.
Finally, the court respected the decision made by Nisya Ahmad, who disagreed with her house being visited. The plan was ultimately canceled.
"The panel of judges did not carry out the on-site examination and moved on to the current hearing for the continuation of the trial," explained Nata.
Andika himself is still trying to maintain his marriage so that it can be whole again. Unfortunately, Nisya, as the plaintiff, still seems to be sticking to her decision to separate.
Nevertheless, communication between Nisya and Andika remains smooth. Moreover, both of them are still living in the same house, although in different beds. Â "Still, communication is just fine. Especially for the sake of the children. Their daily life is still like usual, like a husband and wife. Everything is still safe," concluded Nata Sasmita.
