Cinta Brian now appears with a different character in the soap opera LAUTAN CINTA SCTV. If previously he often played the role of a CEO or a formal man, this time he plays Aidan, a student with a more relaxed character.
This character change has been positively welcomed by Cinta. He admits to feeling more comfortable because he no longer has to wear formal suits like in some previous projects.
"This way I can be myself more. Happy, happy, but it's heavy. If it's like this I can be more relaxed, I can be myself, more casual," said Cinta Brian when met at a virtual press conference, Thursday (25/06/2026).
Cinta even shares a funny experience when the formal character she portrayed in previous titles carried over into her daily life, including when talking to her younger siblings at home.
"Because if I keep wearing a suit, it carries over to home too, when I talk to my younger siblings I become stiff. 'Oliver, you can't put that plate there.' It's so sad, I can't," explained Cinta Brian while laughing.
Through the character Aidan, Cinta feels closer to a young person her age. However, she emphasizes that this character still has its own challenges because it holds a quite strong emotional side.
"Aidan, this character is patient, very, very patient, obedient. But he is actually more of a sad boy, he's really a sad boy. Sometimes what he wants, what he desires, he tries to find, but there is one factor that hinders him," said Cinta Brian.
In addition to its different characters, Cinta is also interested in taking on this project because she can work with several senior actors whom she admires.
"The senior actors are also impressive, they are really top senior actors here, which makes me feel like, 'Oh really? I'm going to act with them? Yes! Let's do it.' One of them is Uncle Teddy Syah," concluded Cinta Brian.
