No News for Five Years, Here's the Fate of Mancung, the Actress of the Soap Opera 'Emak Ijah Pengen Ke Mekah'

Yes, one of the cast members of the soap opera Emak Ijah Wants to Go to Mecca is known to have not been seen on screen for a long time. For five years, Mancung has not received any shooting calls, and apparently, his fate along with his mother and sister is very concerning.

Mancung now lives in a small rented house in Depok, West Java. And to make a living, he and his family work by selling perfume. 

"Nowadays, we sell perfume at home, haven't been shooting for five years. No jobs at all. No, because whenever I feel sad, my mother encourages me," said Mancung when met at his residence on Sunday (9/5).

1. Once Bullied Because of Selling Perfume

The situation she experienced apparently made many people wonder. And not a few also sneered and even bullied her because she is now not an artist but a perfume seller. 

"There are often people asking 'why are you not filming anymore, selling perfume?' I answer 'it's okay' because I'm helping my mom. Sometimes there are also those who like to bully. But my mom said to be patient," said Mancung.

2. Very Different Since No Longer Filming

Mancung's mother, Jeky Susilowati, said that many things have changed since her daughter stopped filming. If before she could earn one to two million per day, now from selling perfume, they can only earn one hundred thousand per day. 

"If before it was one million a day, sometimes it could be two million, but now it's like that. Now it's one hundred to two hundred thousand per day," said Mancung's mother.

"It's very different from before when we could gather that much income, but because of the problem, we couldn't enjoy it," she concluded.
