Nominated for VCCA 2021, Baim Wong Feels Appreciated as a Content Creator

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Baim Wong admitted to being happy when being nominated in the Video Content Creator Awards 2021 (VCCA). This is because his work as a content creator is appreciated and included in the Favorite Celebrity nomination category in VCCA 2021.

"Of course, I am happy and surprised. Because I became a content creator just to create," said Baim Wong in a virtual press conference on Friday (20/8).

One of the reasons the 40-year-old man became a content creator was initially just to capture his activities with his wife and son, Paula Verhoeven and Kiano Tiger Wong.

"Yeah, me, Paula, and Kiano just want to create content and be watched by the public, there is no other purpose or goal," he said.

Managing Director of GTV, Valencia Tanoesudibjo, said that the VCCA 2021 event reveals that the award event is aimed at giving encouragement to content creators in Indonesia.

"Certainly VCCA 2021 is a motivation for them to create the best content uploaded to their social media," said Valencia Tanoesudibjo.

Therefore, the VCCA 2021 event is a step for them to support the creative industry in Indonesia, in order to advance the creative economy of Indonesia.

"This will be Indonesia's sustainable wealth and will continue to develop in the future," concluded Valencia Tanoesudibjo.

The event is planned to be broadcast live on GTV on September 4, 2021 at 19:00 WIB. Later, the judges will choose the winners from 60 nominations divided into 12 nomination categories.
