Kapanlagi.com - Sandra Dewi returned as a witness in the corruption trial involving her husband, Harvey Moeis, at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court on Monday (21/10/2024).
During the trial, Sandra stated that her husband has never given her a luxury bag as a gift during their marriage. Instead, she regularly receives an iPhone as a gift every year from her husband.
"Your Honor, I explained in the previous session that my husband has a routine of giving me an iPhone every year," said Sandra.
Sandra Dewi also explained that from the beginning of their marriage, she had asked Harvey not to give her gifts in the form of luxury bags. This is because, since 2014, Sandra has been collaborating with various online and offline stores that sell bags.
"But for bags, I am the one who forbids it, Your Honor. Because since 2014, I have been collaborating with these online shops and these offline shops that sell bags, Your Honor," she said.
The collaboration that has been ongoing for 10 years has led Sandra to receive many bags from more than 23 stores. The bags were given as a form of promotional collaboration with the stores, not directly from well-known bag brands.
"So I have been endorsed since 2014 until 2024. It has been 10 years, there are more than 23 bag stores that have given me bags, I promote these stores, not the brand," she said.
According to Sandra, there have indeed been offers to give her luxury bags from her husband. However, she always declines on the grounds that she has already received too many bags from professional collaborations.
"Because for bags, I have received so many from Yang Mulia. So why should my husband give me another bag when I am the one who forbids it, why should he give me a bag," she said.
"Before he asks me, 'what bag do you want?' there are stores that ask me, 'sister, what bag do you want? we want to give you one', to promote their stores," concluded Sandra.
