This song has become more talked about after being considered a copy of the song Aku Bukan Boneka sung by Rinni Wulandari.

This topic has become a heated discussion among netizens, especially after Rinni uploaded a 'duet' video with Kekeyi's new song. Rinni's upload received various reactions from netizens. Some of them even accused Rinni of seeking attention by using Kekeyi's name.

1. Gandhi Fernando's Comment

The controversy surrounding the song apparently caught the attention of actor, director, and screenwriter from the homeland, Gandhi Fernando. Gandhi showed his defense for Rinni who was attacked by several netizens.

Gandhi revealed that the song Aku Bukan Boneka (I'm Not a Doll), which was released much earlier, was also very famous at that time. Therefore, he believes it is not right to consider Rinni as riding on Kekeyi's popularity.

"That song Aku Bukan Boneka was trending and very famous at that time. I even bought Rinni's album back in 2007," he wrote in his Instagram Story post.

2. Not the Era of Social Media

According to Gandhi, although it was equally popular, because back then social media was not widely used, the song did not go viral like it does now.

"But back then was not the era of social media. Netizens nowadays measure success by the number of followers, views, or subscribers. That is so wrong. A person's success cannot be measured by the number of social media followers," he added.
