Not Bothered by the Demand for Child Support of 5 Million Per Month, Gunawan Dwi Cahyo Accepts Divorce with Okie Agustina

Kapanlagi.com - Footballer Gunawan Dwi Cahyo and Okie Agustina have officially divorced after the divorce decision was read electronically in the Bogor Religious Court on Monday (8/1) yesterday.

Gunawan's lawyer, Septa Eka Sura Putra, stated that his client accepts and does not object to the divorce decision.

"Our communication earlier, Mr. Gunawan accepts it. So there is no objection. He also does not instruct to take any legal action, so he accepts the decision of the panel of judges," said Septa Eka when met in Central Park, West Jakarta, Monday (8/1).

1. Supporting a Child with 5 Million per Month

In the verdict, Gunawan is required to support his child, Miro Materazzi, who is currently being taken care of by Okie, with five million per month. Septa Eka admitted that Gunawan has no objection regarding the demand for child support of five million every month.

"Yes, so the reason is that Mr. Gunawan also agreed to divorce, not objecting to the demand to support the child, while the child's custody is still given to Ms. Okie," she said.

"However, in the agreement, freedom is given and extensive access is provided by Ms. Okie to Mr. Gunawan if he wants to meet with the child," she added.

2. Gunawan Sad to Divorce Okie

Gunawan feels sad to divorce the woman he married since 2012. However, both of them agreed to maintain a good relationship and raise their child together.

"If Mr. Gunawan is sad, of course, but this divorce is because there is no compatibility and there is no longer the same vision and mission. So this dispute had to happen," she said.

"The important thing is that Mr. Gunawan and Ms. Okie are committed to raising the child together. So that the child does not feel the loss of love from both parents," she concluded.
