Not Just Wanting to Sell Looks, Angga Yunanda is Happy to be a Jamet-Styled Content Creator in the Film 'BUDI PEKERTI'

Kapanlagi.com - Throughout his career as an actor, Angga Yunanda actually had doubts about the development of his acting performance. He felt that he would be trapped in the handsome guy character.

However, director Wregas Bhanuteja gave Angga the opportunity to appear differently in the film BUDI PEKERTI. He was cast as a content creator named Mukhlas with eccentric makeup.

"I was pessimistic at one point. Well, it seemed like throughout my career, people would only see me as a good-looking guy, a soft boy. And I'm really happy to find a character that is different from what I have played before. If it weren't for Kak Wregas, I don't know when I would get a character like this," said Angga when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Friday (4/8/2023).

1. Keep the Character's Appearance a Secret

In the movie BUDI PEKERTI, actor Angga Yunanda was asked to wear earrings and dye his bangs blonde. However, during the shooting process, it was kept a secret to create a surprise.

"Being in this movie is a surprise that I've been wanting to reveal for a long time because since the first day of shooting, I wanted to show the difference to everyone to see my transformation," said Shenina Cinnamon's boyfriend.

2. A Meaningful Job

Angga Yunanda revealed that he is happy to be involved in the movie BUDI PEKERTI. He feels that this is very meaningful for both his career and personal life. A role that many actors aspire to.

"This is a project that means a lot, both personally and professionally, because there is a lot of learning starting from character formation. Being involved in this movie is every actor's dream because having a long reading time is impossible to build a character," he said.
