Oki Setiana Dewi's younger sister said she is determined to choose Teuku Ryan as her future husband because she sees Ryan's personality, which is similar to her late father's.

"Abang Ryan is a man who is firm in his words, his attitude, his steps, everything, and Icis needs someone firm like her father. Hopefully, with his firmness, he can guide me," said Ria Ricis in Tangerang, Monday (20/9/2021).

In addition, Ricis also sees that her future husband has good morals and religious knowledge. And most importantly, his family accepts Ryan's presence.

"Firstly, maybe what I saw was his morals when I met him in Aceh, Ricis saw that he was polite, had good religious values, educated, and when introduced to the family, the family also accepted him," said Ricis.

Ricis and Ryan got to know each other in January 2021. At that time, communication between them had not been established well. "The communication was on and off since January," said Ria Ricis.

They only started communicating intensively when Ricis went to Aceh for self-healing after her father's departure.

"We only started communicating intensively in mid-July," said Ricis.

According to Ricis, when she was self-healing in Aceh, Teuku Ryan expressed his love. However, she politely rejected him.

"Brother Ryan was rejected by Ricis. So at that time in Aceh, Brother expressed his feelings, and Ricis said, 'I'm sorry if I can't right now, but if you're serious, come to Jakarta so that I can introduce you to my family,'" said Ria Ricis.

2. A Man Who Never Gives Up

Apparently, Teuku Ryan is a man who doesn't easily give up. Ryan accepted Ricis's challenge and came to Jakarta to propose.

"Finally, a few weeks later, Ryan came to Jakarta, directly and seriously proposing to me," said Ricis.

Ricis, who saw the seriousness of Teuku Ryan, then performed istikharah prayer. From that prayer, she became more convinced to accept Ryan as her future husband.

"Of course (istikharah prayer), because it is something desired for a lifetime. I want the best," said Ricis.
