Not Many Invited Guests at Her Wedding, Kesha Ratuliu: This is My Wedding Dream

Kapanlagi.com - Niece of Mona Ratuliu, Kesha Ratuliu is currently happy because she has just held a wedding with Adhi Permana. Despite holding a wedding in the midst of a pandemic, Kesha is still happy because for her, this is the wedding she has always dreamed of.

"Yesterday we had the solemnization, and then the solemnization was different from the reception day. Why? Because of time restrictions, because there is a PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), plus a different theme, if the solemnization is traditional, the reception is just an Intimate dinner," said Kesha Ratuliu when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/2).

1. Wedding Dream

"Actually, it's regrettable that there are some, but I'm also grateful that there are. Because it's regrettable that I can't invite many people, but I'm grateful that this is indeed my wedding dream," she continued.

As for the dowry itself, Kesha Ratuliu admitted that she didn't have any special requests for her husband. She only asked for a dowry in the form of 19.7 grams of gold and a set of prayer tools and the Quran.

2. Meaning of Dowry

"Actually, the 19.7 grams doesn't have any special meaning, it's just a coincidence that I like that amount. And then, as for the other items, they are a set of prayer tools and the Quran. Initially, there was no Quran, but I personally requested it from Adhi, I wanted the Quran and there's no special meaning to it," she said.

In addition, after getting married, of course, every newlywed couple wants to go on a honeymoon together. However, due to the current situation that doesn't allow it, Kesha Ratuliu and her husband had to cancel their plan for both a honeymoon and umrah.

3. Honeymoon Wants to Umrah

"We initially planned to go on a honeymoon and perform Umrah. But since Umrah is still not open for Indonesian citizens, we changed our plans. We were originally going to Bajo, but it didn't happen because we suddenly changed our destination. So we ended up going to Bali instead. And we received a gift from Bunda Mona for going to Bali. Alhamdulillah," she concluded.
