Not Many People Know, Chef Juna Once Married an American Woman

1. Married Before

Juna's marriage to his unnamed ex took place in 2007. They were married for two years and were not blessed with a child.

"When Trump won the presidency. My ex-wife. My ex-wife is American. But we're still good friends," said Juna.

"But you don't have any children?" asked Deddy, who then stopped discussing Trump and asked about Juna's ex-wife.

"At that time, it was just a plan. Because foreigners are different from Indonesians. In Indonesia, after getting married, you have to have children right away. We got married, and before getting married, we had already agreed. Basically, for 2 years, 2 and a half years, we didn't have children first. We wanted to enjoy our honeymoon. It turned out it happened for real, hmm together. And then after two years, it ended," said Juna while laughing.

2. Anesthesia Specialist Doctor

Juna revealed that he and his ex-wife separated amicably. They divorced because of their busy schedules, which made it difficult for them to find time together.

"My ex-wife is an anesthesia specialist doctor," said Juna.

"How did you meet an anesthesia doctor? You're a chef, right?" asked Deddy.

"Oh, I forgot how we met," Juna replied.

3. Reasons for Divorce

Juna revealed the reasons why he and his ex-wife separated. Their busy schedules made Juna and his ex-wife choose to separate amicably and they are still friends until now.

"She is an anesthesia doctor at the world's largest cancer hospital, MD Anderson. She has to be at the hospital by 4:30 AM, leaves at 6 PM, and goes to bed at 8 PM. I come home at 1 AM. She leaves in the morning, I wake up at 8 AM. We never meet, it's also pitiful. Finally, we divorced amicably, we are still friends," said Juna.
