Not Surprised to Be a Suspect, Former Manager Suspects Denny Sumargo for This Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Former manager Denny Sumargo has been named a suspect in a report regarding allegations of embezzlement and forgery of documents. However, Ditya Andrista claimed to not be surprised by the designation as a suspect.

When met before the trial at the West Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (22/2), Ditya stated that he already knew about it. He even mentioned that Denny Sumargo had informed him.

1. Provide Information

"Yes, I'm not surprised because I've read various statements from him and he has informed me that I would be a suspect," said Ditya Andrista.

In addition, during the same occasion, Ditya's legal representative, Tegar Putuhena, also expressed suspicion towards Denny Sumargo. This is because Denny Sumargo already knew that his client would become a suspect even though the police had not conducted an investigation.

2. Criminal Process

"Densu is a great person, on February 10th, he already said that (Ditya) will soon become a suspect, he said that on February 10th, then he said that the criminal process will continue even if there is a civil case," said Tegar.

"However, the case hearing at Polda Metro was only held on February 14th. But four days before that, Densu already knew that he would become a suspect, I suspect that Densu is actually the investigator. That's the first thing, and then there's the issue of the notice to the investigator," Tegar concluded.

3. Suing His Former Artist

Previously, Ditya Andrista sued his former artist, Denny Sumargo, for violating their work agreement, causing him to lose hundreds of millions. This loss is the total amount from the beginning of his work as the actor's manager for 6 years.

Ditya then filed a lawsuit against Denny Sumargo with case number 63/Pdt.G/2022/PN Jkt.Brt at the West Jakarta District Court. He claims to have suffered a loss of IDR 880,288,000 due to breach of contract.
