Clara Shinta finally made a confession about her beliefs. She revealed it through Aurel Hermansyah's Youtube channel.
In it, Clara Shinta mentioned that she still often goes to church when she returns to Medan. This is because at that time, her parents still didn't know that she had converted since 2017.
"So actually I converted to Islam in 2017, my mom, my dad, my whole family didn't know. Because my mom is a non-Muslim, so when I go back to Medan, I go to church," Clara Shinta said.
Clara Shinta admitted that she really loves her new religion. However, it cannot be denied that her love for her parents is also very strong.
Clara Shinta mentioned that she only stopped going to church when her mother found out about her conversion to Islam. This moment happened exactly 1 minute before she took off for umrah.
"Because of my principle, I really love my religion, but I also love my parents. I still went to church until this year, until my mom found out 1 minute before I took off for umrah," she said.
Clara herself admits that she converted to Islam because she received guidance. She has found many good things now.
